Overview
For extra wide openings, Hanover Door Systems can install a Sliding Mullion between two overhead doors that can be slid to the side, thus increasing the overall width of the door opening. Either door can still be opened on their own.
The Hanover slide away Mullion is insulated and engineered up to 32’ high.
It comes with an exterior 10 gauge support cover for strength.
There are 6 rugged rollers on top of the mullion that carry it in a track mounted under the header.
The mullion never touches the floor, it rides about 1/2” above it.
Track & sealed bearing rollers are also included.
Top & Bottom quick and easy deadbolt disconnects make the mullion really easy to operate and slide off to one side jamb, taking up 10” of width on the side jamb.
We have incorporated a safety limit switch at the top of the mullion to prevent accidental motor operation when the mullion is not engaged.
